Jie Xu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. His research interests include edge computing, wireless communications and networking, distributed learning and optimization, federated learning, and reinforcement learning. He has received several awards including the NSF CAREER Award and the Distinguished Ph.D. Dissertation Award from UCLA.
